Caldwell graduates include 5 valedictorians
PRINCETON, Ky. -- Five students will graduate at the top of the Class of 2000 when Caldwell County High School has its commencement ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Community Activities Building.
In all, 140 seniors will pick up their diplomas, school officials said.
The valedictorians are Amy Michelle Fuller, Bryan Edward Martin, Laura Beth Robinson, Jason Richard Still, and Laura Williamson Taylor.
The salutatorian is Jessica Marie Fletcher.
Fuller, daughter of Gary and Vicki Fuller, was active in programs like FBLA, band, and National Honor Society. She will attend Murray State University.
Martin, son of Donnie and Teresa Scott and J.R. and Dena Martin, is FBLA president, a 1999 Governor's Scholar, and captain of the academic team, among other things. He will attend the University of Louisville Speed Scientific School.
Robinson, daughter of Melissa Robinson, is Foreign Language president, FBLA historian, and the Spanish National Honor Society. She will attend Paducah Community College.
Still, son of Rex and Diane Still, is editor of the school newspaper, FBLA Parliamentarian, and a Kentucky Governor's Scholar. He will attend the University of Louisville Speed Scientific School.
Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rumsey Taylor III, is active in the marching and concert band, varsity golf and tennis, and the National Honor Society. She will attend Belmont University.
Fletcher, daughter of Melissa and David Fletcher, is active in jazz band and musical orchestra and is reporter for the National Honor Society. She will attend the University of Louisville.
The school's baccalaureate service was Sunday and its Class Night was Tuesday. Both activities were held in the Community Activities Building.
