TEXAS - West Orange - West Orange-Stark High School Choir Awards - June 2006

West Orange – Stark High School choir students earned gold and silver medals at the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest held in San Marcos, Texas last week.

Fifteen students qualified to compete at the event and 12 brought home medals in solo competition.

Earning gold medals were John Mitchell, Nick Cook, Ezra Thomas, and Melanie Williams.

Silver medalists were Jeran King, Milton Hardin, Bryant McDonald, Jardon O’Neal, Chase Champine, Randy Wuske, Amarienne Williams and Maria Hughey.

Additionally, a WO-S madrigal qualified to compete in the ensemble contest.

Madrigal members were Amarienne Williams, Sarah Manuel, Brittney Thibodeaux, Mia Orebo, John Mitchell, Jardon O’Neal, Jeran King and Oran Smith.
