Superintendent J. D. Eggleston, jr., of the Asheville city schools, makes the following report of the school work for the third month of the term:

4th B, 5th, 6th and 7th grades, E. E. Smith - Pupils enrolled, 49; percent of attendance, 92; tardies, 46; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 8.

Roll of honor - Hattie Goodrun, Mattie J. Williams, Emma Murphy, Viola Brown, Etta Littlejohn, Carrie Fowler, Minerva G. McDowell, Thomas Martin, Marcus Smith, Elbert McDowell, Thomas Morris.

3rd and 4th A grades, Virginia Lee Burrell - Pupils enrolled, 59; percent of attendance, 77; tardies, 70; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 4.

Roll of honor - James Whitson, James Littlejohn, Marshall Simleton, James Thompson.

2nd grade, Emily C. Stanard - Pupils enrolled, 80; percent of attendance, 89; tardies, 98; pupils neither tardy nor absent, 10.
