Hayward Grammar School Graduating Class
HAYARD, Dec. 21 (1911): The graduating exercises of the local grammar school will be held at 2:00 tomorrow afternoon at the school building and will be preceded by Christmas exercises to take place at 10 o'clock.
The graduating exercise will be in two parts. The first will consist of songs, the presentation of the class picture by Marion Strobridge, class president; presentation of the diplomas by F.I. Lemos, clerk of the board, and an address to the graduates by Peter J. Crosby. The second part of the program will be taken up with "The Bird's Christmas Carol," dramatized by Miss Clara E, Kettleson and Miss Gertrude Freitag. The play is in two acts and will be presented by members of the graduating class.
