MISSOURI - Independence - Locals on Various College Honor Rolls - July 2, 1998

COLLEGE HONOR ROLLS
Cottey College

Jaime Lobb, Independence, has been named to the president`s list for the spring 1998 semester at Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. To be named to the presidnet`s list, students must earn at least a 3.75 grade point average and complete at least 12 credit hours.

Hope College

Crystal Sprouse, Independence, has been named to the dean`s list for the spring 1998 semester at Hope College in Holland, Mi. To be named to the dean`s list, students must have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average.

Oklahoma

Karen Bannister, Independence, was named to the hoor roll for the spring 1998 semester at the University of Oklahoma. Bannister earned a 4.0 grade point average and was named to the president`s honor roll.

Purdue University

Philippe Limondin, Independence, earned academic honors for the spring 1998 semester at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.

To earn academic honors, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average during the semester or cumulative.

Southwest Baptist

Several Independence residents have been named to the trustee`s list for the spring 1998 semester at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo. Students named to the trustee`s list have earned at least a 3.85 grade point average and were enrolled in at least 12 credit hours.

Students named to the list include: Shannon Trentham, John Frazier and Andrew Hatfield.

Valerie Jenkins, Independence, was named to the dean`s list for the spring 1998 semester. Students on the dean`s list have earned a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69, and carried at least

12 credit hours..

Southwest Missouri

Several Independence residents were named to the honor roll for the spring 1998 semester at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield.

To be named to the list, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average and complete at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

Students named to the list are: Andrea Becker, Travis Beye, Brad Drinkwater, Daniele Fields, Joel Francis, Tara Hamilton, Anthony Hancox, Rachel Johnson, Adrian McDole, Melanie Morrison and Melanie Prince.
