MISSOURI - Independence - Locals on Various College Honor Rolls - March 4, 1998

Cottey College

Jaime Lobb of Independence has been named to the dean`s list for the fall 1997 semester at Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. To be named to the dean`s list, students must earn a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.74 and complete at least 12 credit hours.

Lobb is the daughter of Beverly and James Lobb.

Westminster College

Three area residents were named to the dean`s list for the fall 1997 semester at Westminster College in Fulton, Mo.

To be named to the dean`s list, students must have earned at least a 3.6 grade point average and completed at least 12 credit hours.

Molly Selders, Independence, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Selders; Nicole Puhr, Sugar Creek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Puhr; and Ross Fowler, Independence, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Fowler, were named to the dean`s list.

University of Missouri-Rolla

Several Independence residents were named to the honor`s list for the fall 1997 semester at the University of Missouri-Rolla.

To be eligible for the honor list, students must have earned at least a 3.2 grade point average and carried at least 12 credit hours.

Independence residents named to the list were: Ian Cackler, Gary Cauthon, Rachel Durst, William Fellows, Brian Johnson, Jonathan Keller, Jason Osiek, James van Iten and Rachel Wheeler.
